Three People incjured in Shootout near Pentagon PDF Print E-mail

Washington: Breaking News! At least three people, including two security personnel, were injured in a shootout near the Pentagon headquarters of the US Defense Department. The attacker was nabbed with injuries.

 

The incident occurred near an entrance from the underground Pentagon stop of the Washington Metro. A man with a gun, resorted to firing, injuring the cops. He was also injured in retaliatory firing. All injured have been admitted to George Washington Hospital.

 

The attacker was identified as 36-year old John Patrick Bedell. The Pentagon headquarters were closed for sometime. However, the lock down was later lifted. The Pentagon is located just across the Potomac River from Washington.
