BSNL launches 3G Services in Andhra Pradesh PDF Print E-mail

Hyderabad: The state-owned telecom company, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (BSNL) has launched the 3G services in Andhra Pradesh. BSNL had earlier launched the services in Karnataka and expanded its network in Tamil Nadu.

 

The BSNL 3G services will now be available across Andhra Pradesh. New subscribers on the 3G network can make STD calls for 50 paise per minute and local calls at 30 paise for minute. Outside the 3G network, the charges will be 70 paise for STD and 60 paise (both per minute) for local calls.

 

Local SMS will be charged at 40 paise per SMS, national SMS for 60 paise and international SMS for Rs. 3. The data transfer charges is 1 paisa per 10KB data transfer. The subscription charges for the 3G network will cost Rs 59.

 

The BSNL 3G services are now available in 29 cities and 23 district headquarters across Andhra Pradesh.
