New Delhi: Four more people died of Swine Flu in the country, taking the A H1N1 death toll to 1,268. While two deaths occurred yesterday, two previous deaths were also confirmed. Gujarat reported three deaths in total, while the fourth one was reported from Maharashtra.

 

Maharashtra now accounts for 326 Swine Flu deaths - the highest in the country, followed by Gujarat 255, Rajasthan (182), Karnataka (141), Delhi (95), Andhra Pradesh (52), Punjab (38), Kerala (37), Haryana (37), Madhya Pradesh (22), Uttar Pradesh (18) and Uttarakhand (13).

 

The Swine Flu seems to be on decline in India now. Only 10 new cases of Swine Flu were reported in the country on Sunday, taking the number of laboratory-confirmed cases to 29,064. Six of them were reported from Gujarat, while four were from Karnataka.
