Kolkata: Breaking News! Kiler disease Swine Flu has raised a panic button in West Bengal, as the state reported the third H1N1 casualty this year. All hospitals and private nursing homes have been alerted following the incident.
The latest victim was a 66-year-old man, who was admitted to the Apollo Hospital with hypertension and metabolic acidosis. He was admitted to the hospital on July 28. Â Â The man's throat swab confirmed the presence of A H1N1, but it was too late and he could not survive despite the best efforts of the doctors. Â Â The Swine Flu cases are on the rise in West Bengal. At least nine new cases were reported on Thursday, taking the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 91. |
