Nagpur: India is in deep trouble, after losing three top wickets this morning. South African pacers pierced through the Indian batting order, removing the likes of Gautam Gambhir and Sachin Tenulkar, giving an edge to South Africa in Nagpur Test.
Resuming from their overnight score of 25/0, India lost Gambhir at 31. Gamhir scored just 12 and fell to Morne Morkel. Then Dale Steyn gave double blows to India by claiming Murali Vijay and Sachin Tendulkar. Vijay made 4, while Tendulkar could score just 7.
India were 69/3 in 18 overs, when reports last received. Sehwag was batting on 31. Since South Africa has scored 558/6 in the first innings, India need 359 to avoid the follow-on. |
