Jaipur: The Rajasthan Royals, which already lost their first two matches in the IPL 3, received another jolt today, as their star batsman and South African skipper Graeme Smith was ruled out of the tournament due to a finger injury. Â Smith fractured his right middle finger, while taking a superb catch to dismiss Virender Sehwag during yesterday's match against Delhi Daredevils in Ahmedabad. Rajasthan Royals have already missed two of their key batsmen - Ravindra Jadeja (banned) and Shane Watson (playing for Australia). Â "I have a double fracture in my right middle finger, so will be missing the IPL. I hurt it taking the catch off Sehwag last night when I landed my finger got hooked in the ground," wrote Smith on his Twitter page. |
