Ad Veteran S.R. Mani Iyer dies at 75 |

Chennai: Legendary advertisement veteran, S.R. Mani Iyer passed away at the age of 75. Iyer headed Ogilvy & Mather India for a long time. He died of a prolonged illness. He had been ruling the ad world since 1958.
Mani Iyer was born on September 5, 1935. He had over 45 years’ experience in the ad industry. He is survived by his wife, son and daughter.
Mani Iyer founded Ogilvy of the 1970s. Earlier, it was known as S.H. Benson. He headed the company from 1958 till 1994. Iyer brought a high-level of strategic thinking and business orientation into the advertising thought process.
