New Delhi: Despite the government claims that the inflation will come down soon, the annual inflation rate for the month of February 2010 has gone up to 9.89 per cent because of a rise in food articles.

 

The inflation rate was 8.56 per cent during the previous month - January 2010. During the month of February 2009, the annual inflation rate was just 3.5 per cent.

 

During the month of February 2010, a sharp rise in food articles and manufactured products was seen. Food articles inflation rose up by 17.79 per cent, while inflation for manufactured products went up by 0.6 per cent.
