Mumbai: Breaking News! Never before we have seen Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan outraged over any news article/report. But there was a limit to everything. Amitabh and Abhishek have slammed the news daily, 'Mumbai Mirror' for an "inaccurate" article written about Aishwarya Rai's pregnancy.

Earlier, on February 18, 'Mumbai Mirror' had published an article entitled 'Pregnant Pause', which said that "It now comes to light that the reason for her inability to bear a child at the moment is because she has been suffering from stomach tuberculosis for a while".

The paper further added that "The medication Aishwarya is taking for her stomach ailment is hampering her from getting pregnant. Until the tuberculosis is fully cured, she is unlikely to risk a pregnancy". The paper did not bother to name the journalist, who wrote that stuff.

That was enough to enrage Aishwarya and entire Bachchan family. Aishwarya took the lead by sending an angry letter to 'Mumbai Mirror'. "I am completely shocked, appalled and extremely upset with the contents of the article. I completely deny the report. It is fabricated and false", she wrote.

"It is very disappointing that your office did not even bother to verify this article with me, my family, my spokesperson or my office. I would think it only ethical and correct to get the person in question's side of the story or verification before printing such news", she signed off.

Not only Aishwarya, but also Abhishek and Amitabh reacted strongly to the report. “You want to write and malign me or my father, I will take it. But the ladies of my home are off limits! They've gone too far this time..... I have never reacted to all the fabricated stories written by the media about me and my own. BUT THIS IS THE LIMIT!!!", wrote Abhishek on Twitter.

"As a husband and a man I'm shocked that one can talk so irresponsibly about a woman, that too...falsely!! On a personal note, as a husband I will not stand for such rubbish being written about my wife", he added.

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan also reacted in a similar manner. “I am too incensed and angered by the contents above! Not a single portion of the article is true...I am the head of my family", he said.

"Aishwarya is not my daughter-in-law, she is my daughter, a woman, a lady in my house and home. If anyone will speak derogatorily about her, I shall fight for her till my last breath", Amitabh further added.
