Shah Rukh Khan arrives in Mumbai, gets relief from Shiv Sena PDF Print E-mail

Mumbai: Bollywood Actor, Shah Rukh Khan arrived in Mumbai this morning, after spending a week in the United States, promoting his upcoming movie, 'My Name Is Khan'. He got a huge relief today, as Shiv Sena said that they won't block the screening of his movie.

Contrary to the speculations, there were no Shiv Sainiks, when SRK landed in Mumbai. When asked about the conflict with Shiv Sena, Shah Rukh said, “Anything I’ll say further, I’ll be misconstrued. There is a misconception of what I said. I did not even use big words.

“I am pro relationship with other countries. It is ridiculous to say that I am against my own country and Mumbai. I am what I am today because of Mumbai. I have full faith on our constitution", he added.

He also talked about Bal Thackeray, saying he had been to Matoshree on several occasions and respect Bala Saheb as a senior leader. SRK also said that he did nothing wrong and stands by his statement.

Meanwhile, Shiv Sena has withdrawn its stir against SRK, paving the way for the release of his movie, 'My Name Is Khan' on Friday. Bal Thackeray called him a traitor, and said that he did not want Shah Rukh's film to get security cover from the Congress in Maharashtra

"Let Pakistani cricketer play anywhere they want in the country. Let Australia continue attacking Indians. Let Pakistan continue 26/11 like attacks anywhere in India. Let Shah Rukh Khan show his film 'My Name Is Khan' without security. We don't want our Shiv Sainiks to be beaten up by the state machinery", said Bal Thackeray.
