Mumbai: It was expected that Farhan Akhtar and Deepika Padukone will come up their best in their latest movie, 'Karhik Calling Karthik'. And, it happened too. After 'Rock On' and 'Luck By Chance', Farhan came up with KCK to prove that he is here to stay for long...

 

The gorgeous and strong Deepika Padukone yet again came up with one of her best performances. There is no denying that she has come of age in acting. 'Karthik Calling Karthik' may not beat the record of '3 Idiots' and 'MNIK', but it will certainly be adopted by the viewers.

 

Karthik is a failed man. He never got any success in his life and struggled throughout. But a phone call changed his life forever. The caller identified himself as Karthik too and then Karthik called Karthik to teach him about how to get the top job and taste success in life.

 

Karthik, a simple but angry man, was exploited by many at the work place. That made him realize that it was not easy to manage a professional life. Then comes the girl, who hadn't even noticed him in the last few years.

 

When Karthik becomes successful in his professional life, his boss acknowledged him, but his mentor and the other Karthik turned aggressive. When his identity was revealed, he spoiled everything what Karthik had achieved.

 

When Karthik was back to square one, he again started a new life with renewed struggle. It goes on. Farhan Akhtar and Deepika Padukone have done a great job and Ram Kapoor and Shefali Chayya are good.

 

'Karthik Calling Karthik' may not become a big hit, but it definitely has a lot to offer to the audience. It's a movie worth watching in the weekend.
